GBTA appears on Good Morning Britain

Theo Clarke, founder of the Global Birth Trauma Alliance, appeared on GMB this morning to discuss the increase in newborn babies and mothers dying during and shortly after pregnancy. She discussed her story and the findings of the APPG on Birth Trauma's report. Theo highlighted the need for: 

1. Better funding of maternity care;

2. The Government to take action (e.g., the National Maternity Improvement Strategy called for by the report); and

3. Medical staff to listen to mothers who have concerns.
