The launch of GBTA featured in The Times

The founding of the Global Birth Trauma Alliance was featured in The Times today.

The GBTA has called on the Health Secretary to:

  1. Implement all recommendations outlined in the Birth Trauma Inquiry report including the headline recommendation for a National Maternity Improvement Strategy, as agreed to by the previous Government;

  2. To appoint a dedicated Commissioner on Maternity who would report to the Health Secretary and Prime Minister.
